Steph Stays: Peddler's Village and Buttonwood Grill

15 <----LEAVE A COMMENT HERE

Peddler's Village
Lahaska, PA

Last weekend, Hubby and I had the awesome opportunity to do another stay at Peddler's Village.  It had been almost 2 years since our last visit (and review), and the amazing people up at Peddler's Village asked if we'd like to check out their newest culinary addition:  Buttonwood Grill.

We said, "Sure."

But really, we jumped up and down and squealed and high-fived, because we really like it up there.

In the last review, I did a comprehensive breakdown of the Food, Lodging and Dining. Given that foundation, I'll be focusing this review mainly on the new Buttonwood Grill, as well as a new perspective on our accommodations!

We arrived on a drizzly Saturday afternoon, which makes the Village look totally British (which I love).  After checking in, we drove around to our One Star Suite. As always, we were absolutely pleased to pieces with our room, which I'll share more about later in the post. Our reservations for Buttonwood Grill were at 7:00pm, so hubby and I relaxed in the room for a bit before going out to poke around the shops until dinner.

I love relaxing and shopping. Not necessarily in that order.

Not before long, we were meeting with Stan and Hilary, two of our very good friends, for the meal. Buttonwood Grill is new to Peddler's Village and I was very impressed with the new twist that Buttonwood brings.

First, Buttonwood Grill brings history.  Named after the original inn and tavern that resided on the exact location a century ago, Buttonwood Grill continues the commitment to the warm and friendly hospitality Bucks County has maintained for decades.

Second, Buttonwood Grill brings class.  Even though the restaurant exists in the same structure as it's predecessor, Sweet Lorraines, the inside is completely it's own.  The style is chic but inviting, with intimate lighting and tasteful design. The menu includes an impressive craft beer selection.

This served to really win over Hubby and Stan.

Our party of four was seated at a long wooden booth on the far end of the restaurant.  Our server, Jennifer, was one of my favorite aspects of Buttonwood.  She was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.  I thought maybe she was giving us special attention, but throughout the meal I noticed she was giving 5-star treatment to all of her tables.  Every question we had about food or beer, Jennifer had an answer.  She knew about the food, the beer, even places we might visit after our meal.

I was pretty hungry when we arrived, and the dinner menu did not help the matter.  Somehow, I was expecting the run-of-the-mill pub fare.  I was not prepared for some of the awesome selections Buttonwood had to offer.  Our party decided on Brisket Fries and Crabby 3 Cheese N' Artichoke Dip to start.

My word.

Brisket Fries are the best thing to ever happen to this girl.  A layer of french fries, topped with tender shredded brisket, along with chopped pickles and creamy horseradish sauce.  I could have eaten it all night long.  I don't do seafood, but Hubby and friends enjoyed the Crab dip.  They appreciated the full plate, and the flavor and texture were spot on.

In a timely fashion, our main meals came out, piping hot.  Hilary ordered a caesar salad, while Stan went with the Ale Battered Shrimp N' Chips.  Stan said his dish was "light and crispy," and he enjoyed the remoulade sauce that came on the side.  Hubby ordered the NY Strip Spice Dirt Dusted Steak.  I believe there was coffee involved in the rub, which made for really flavorful bites.

I am not much of a burger girl, but since the Buttonwood prides itself on being a burger and beer place (despite the fact it is so much more), I decided to order one of the burgers.  The Southern Bacon N' Onion burger was out of this world.  I loved the moist beef, the hint of horseradish, and the presentation.

Now THAT is a burger

We ended our meal with dessert.  The four of us split the tiramisu and the apple crumble.  On par with everything else we experienced, dessert was fantastic. My favorite part? The straight-from-the-oven crumble was served in a cute mason jar, topped with ice cream. Fun! With full bellies, we bid our dining companions goodbye as we headed back to our room for the night.

Our Dessert "menu"

After a great night of sleep, Hubby and I leisurely woke up, got ready, and perused the Village.  One thing I do hope changes in the future are the shopping hours.  On Sundays, shops do not open until 11am, which leaves early morning wakers a pocket of time to kill before shopping.  Not a big deal, though.  A minor detail, which hubby and I resolved by going to a tasty brunch at the Cock n' Bull.  If you like buffets, the brunch at Cock n' Bull can't be beat!

Accommodations

I don't get to stay in hotels very often. In the 5 years we've been married, Hubby and I have only gone away a small handful of times.  And most of those times, we were pretty dissatisfied with our hotel accommodations (you read more about said bad trips here).  We always tried to make an educated decision on the rooms we booked: we Googled, we researched, we read reviews. And despite feeling confident at booking, several times we were quite disappointed.

I've maintained that there is no bad room to be had at Peddler's Village. In my last review, I shared a pretty thorough run-down of our room. But I've found it's hard for me to trust written reviews.  So this time around, I thought I'd do my best to give you a more personal perspective on why I love the accommodations at Peddler's Village:

With great food and great accommodations only a short drive from Philly, Peddler's Village continues to be a wonderful getaway destination.  As many of us are still feeling the pinch of the current economy, Staycations are really a perfect alternative to big vacations.  If you are planning to stay local this summer, make sure Peddler's Village is on your list.  There is plenty to do for the whole family (or a Couples Retreat or a Girls Weekend Away!).

Peddler's Village is also celebrating their 50th Anniversary.  Special events and celebrations are scheduled throughout the year, so check the calendar. And to be kept up to date on events, promotions and receive exclusive offers, sign up for the Loyal Customer Club.

I can't wait until our next visit to Bucks County.  In the meantime, I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about Peddler's Village.  I'd also love to hear about YOUR Peddler's Village experience!

Peddler's Village Upcoming Getaway!

2 <----LEAVE A COMMENT HERE

Ok people.

It's been a while since Hubby and I have gotten away for an overnight. And when I say "while" I mean "almost 2 years."  Long long long long time. And we could really use some time away.

Luckily, we have a getaway planned this weekend! One of our favorite local getaways is Peddler's Village.  I've written about my wonderful experiences at PV on my blog, including my first trip and then our subsequent visit several months later.  We love it there, with tasty food and fun shopping to sustain us.

Local Flavor Review: Peddler's Village

3 <----LEAVE A COMMENT HERE

If you've stumbled upon this blog over the last few months, you've heard me mention Peddler's Village more than once. It was just this past November that Hubby and I ventured up to Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA (near New Hope, PA) for an overnight, not knowing quite what to expect. As many of you know, we were pleasantly surprised!

We are a young couple with a small child on a tight budget. We'd love to fly to Europe for a vacation. Or California. Heck, we'd settle for a few nights at the Jersey Shore, but even that can add up to a pretty penny. Coming across Peddler's Village only one hour away, with reasonable prices, was a true find. It's easy to imagine you are visiting a quaint English village. And although it is only 60 minutes away, it is a nice escape from daily life. Because of our great experience, I've enjoyed passing along Peddler's Village tidbits and upcoming events. It has been my hope that other's like us might find the awesome worth in this little getaway town!

A few weeks ago, Hubby and I made another trek up to Peddler's Village. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, and luckily the weather was GORGEOUS. Very Spring-like for March. It was quite a turnaround from the grey and dreary weather that welcomed us on our first trip to Peddler's Village in November.
Hubby and I had an amazing time, and along with the people of Peddler's Village, we wanted to share it with you! There is so much to share about our stay, I feel like it would detract from your reading experience to relay it in a long essay kind of way. So, I will break it down into 3 categories: Lodging, Dining, Shopping.

(I've also included some photos, but I cannot take credit for them. Peddler's Village provided me these photos. Because I have a crappy camera. And the camera on my cell phone would not do this post justice. And the peddlers might get their feelings hurt if I tortured people with poorly depicted visuals of their village. And they might even put me on their "do not book this woman in our lodge ever again" list. So I am not taking any chances. Note: The photos PV provided are not of the exact room we stayed in or the meals we ordered, but they are a good representation of our experience.)

~~~~~
~LODGING~
When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk who was warm and receptive. I love that. When you check into a hotel, the front desk is your first impression. And I've had some BAD first impressions with previous getaways (see here, here, here, here, here, here, and here for the run down). Being greeted kindly and informatively is a welcomed relief. The decor of the main lobby is tastefully antiquated and sophisticated. We were given our room keys and detailed directions to our lodging. If you remember from my first write up, the rooms are spread out around the village, perched over shops. And that is cool. The Tavern rooms, though, are located in the Main Building.
Our room was located roughly above the Chaddsford Winery Store. When we opened the door, Hubby and I stood for about 5 minutes with our jaws hanging open. I've never, ever, in my entire life stayed in a room so nice. Decadent. Can 'decadent' be used as an adjective for sleeping quarters? Well, it was.
First, we noted that our room was 2 stories tall. That's right. There were stairs to our bedroom. When you walk in the front door, the room opens up into a living room/sitting area. This area is adjacent to a bathroom that is complete with a 2-person whirlpool tub. That cool part about this tub is that there are swinging doors that can open up into the sitting room, so you can watch TV or admire the fireplace. No worries - if you are looking for some privacy, the doors close as well :)
Up the stairs was a loft area with a king-sized bed, TV and generously-sized second bathroom (this one had a shower instead of a whirlpool tub). It looked down onto the sitting room, which made the room feel even larger than it was. Everything was decorated and updated beautifully. One day, if I ever own a home, I want to hire the interior decorator who designed the motif at Peddler's Village to decorate my home. You think I'm kidding. I am not.
As far as lodging goes at PV, I've yet to be disappointed with our rooms. During our last visit, we stayed in a 2-Star Guest Room (I would consider the 2-Star Guest Room as the option most central between least expensive and most expensive rooms). It was just as lovely and comfortable as the Bi-Level Suite we stayed in for our recent visit. My in-laws took an overnight in December and stayed in a Tavern Room (this would be PV's least expensive lodging option), which they loved.
If you are willing to spend the money for a more lavish overnight or weekend, I highly recommend the Bi-Level Suite! If you want a budget weekend that is still comfortable and nice, go with a Tavern Room. For something in between, any of the 1-Star or 2-Star Guest Rooms (or Delux Rooms) would be the way to go.
~DINING~
(For this category, I will focus mainly on our Saturday meal, and touch briefly on our breakfast and lunch)
For Dinner on Saturday evening, Hubby and I reserved a table at Earl's Bucks County. This establishment was previously known as "Earl's Prime," but underwent some great renovations and recently re-opened. We enjoyed eating at "Earl's Prime" during our last visit, and were eager to see what was different since it's grand re-opening.
The atmosphere was slightly more modern, but still comfortable. Hubby and I both noted that while Earl's has a somewhat upscale feel to the menu, we did not feel out of place in jeans (Note: I did dress them up nicely, if I do say so myself). The servers were sleek in black shirts but casual in jeans. Several other patrons were dressed more elegantly, and yet we all seemed to belong at this place together. It was a comforting feeling: Casually Sophisticated. Earl's doesn't have to try to be hip; it just is.
The menu speaks to my heart. Having taken up as the blogger for our local farmer's market, I love that Earl's Bucks County serves "American cuisine with menus that celebrate the rich diversity of our region, created using the day's best ingredients, naturally grown and raised on small, local sustainable farms, ranches and fisheries. We have forged relationships with local farmers and producers to select the best seasonal and sustainably-grown foods." We need more restaurants like this in our area! Along with great food options, the wine and spirits list was impressive but not exclusive. I like feeling that I can order a good glass of Pinot Grigio without being snubbed because I haven't taken a class on the subject.
As we considered our menu options, we were greeted by our server, Ehron. If there was anything more impressive than the menu, it was our server. Ehron was the most warm, educated and informative server I have had the pleasure of interacting with. He gave us space without pressuring us, but never made us wait too long. When Hubby inquired about a particular appetizer, we got an entire lesson on "Ceviche" (for those who are wondering, "ceviche" is thinly sliced cuts of fish that marinate in citrus juice. Instead of being cooked by heat, the acid in the citrus juice actually cooks them. Crazy, right?). I thought he might have been just trying to impress us, but he gave the same special attention to every one of his tables (I admit, I spied a little).
Hubby went with the Ceviche for his appetizer, and I chose Not the Norm Fried Mozzarella. Neither of us had complaints. Hubby was actually quite pleased with his new-found ceviche. I appreciated that the mozzarella went above and beyond the usual breaded and fried cheese sticks served with marinara. For my main meal, I was totally tempted by the Olive-Brined Bolton Farms Chicken (olives make me all kinds of hot and bothered...in a good way), while Hubby went with Pan-Roasted Maine Scallops. Since I don't eat seafood, this was a true treat for Hubby, who ate every last morsel. I was thrilled with my chicken, and spent time between bites quietly trying to figure out how I might olive-brine some chicken at home. We ended our meal with dessert. Dessert is my favorite meal of the day, and I apologize that I completely forgot to write down the names of what we ordered. I know that Hubby got an out-of-this world chocolate cake, and I got a tart that involved Ricotta Cheese. And we all know how I feel about Ricotta Cheese.
(Not pictures of our actual meal, but we were graced with the same artistic and creative presentation. Can we say "yum?")
The next morning, still feeling a bit fill from our scrumptious dinner, Hubby and I decided to take it easy for breakfast, and headed over to House of Coffee for coffee and bagels. The conversation was soft and polite, and the coffee was perfectly roasted. During our stay in November, we were spoiled to coffee after purchasing a bag of their Tanzanian Peaberry. I wanted to order more online once we ran out, but couldn't justify the shipping, so I patiently waited until we could come and visit again. I promise you there is a neatly filled bag sitting pretty in our kitchen, begging to be opened.
For lunch, we once again patroned Sweet Lorraines Cafe. This is another establishment that has a lot of great organic options, which I can feel good about. The feeling inside SLC (as they refer to themselves on the menu) is more trendy and fun than that of Earl's Bucks County. It is still just as comfortable, with a nice range of food options. We couldn't linger too long, as we had a toddler we missed and needed to get home to. I was still feeling dinner from the night before sitting heavy in my belly, so I kept my lunch light. I ordered Cream of Broccoli Soup. It was tasty, light and not overly-filling. Hubby enjoyed Crab Wontons. The service at Sweet Lorraine's was a bit slower and not as intimate as our experience with Earl's, but I will attribute that to a very busy Sunday brunch/lunch hour. It was overall a good experience, and a great option if you want something laid back and casual.
I've not yet had a meal I did not like at Peddler's Village. Next time I visit, I hope to try out some of their other establishments, such as Cock n' Bull, Hart's Tavern and Peddler's Pub. I'm actually trying to coordinate several of my friends to take a trip to Peddler's Village this fall to catch one of the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater's they host.
~SHOPPING~
It is hard to deny that one of the biggest draws of Peddler's Village is the shopping. I mean, just breaking down the title of this town says it all: a village of peddlers. Hubby and I spent the better part of Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning meandering around the Village, popping into every store. That's right, every store. Each store is unique, offering something different than it's neighbor. I quickly noticed that the store owners and employees jumped at the chance to greet their customers and inform them about the wares of their shop. I really appreciate this quality; the peddlers of this village truly take pride in what they do. My first stop was actually the grand opening of a new store: Apricot Lane. While I was not sure what to expect at first, I was excited to find that Apricot Lane was a trendy boutique. In my personal opinion, it is a welcome addition to Peddler's Village. There are stores for every style, taste and hobby. As a woman in her late twenties, I feel that Apricot Lane brings a youthful twist to the shopping here. The clothes were modern, and I found several pieces I'd happily come home with. I was even more pleased with the prices, which were quite affordable.
After tearing myself away from Apricot Lane, Hubby and I stopped into a shop for him: The Den, which I have, for all intents and purposes, dubbed 'The Man Cave.' In this store, Hubby takes inventory of every square foot of the store. I'm a girl, so I don't quite get it. But the books, clothing and knick knacks they offer make his eyes glaze over. After not too long, I convinced Hubby that there were more stores to check out. And I might have promised him something to eat as well. I would have been remiss if I didn't stop in the Cookery Ware Shop, which sinfully causes me to covet something fierce. Who knew there were so many kitchen accoutrements that I never knew I needed? Hubby and I then perused the hot sauce offerings at Grandpa Hicks Cheese and Gourmet. Throughout our stay, we looked at books, drooled over candy, tried on shoes, and carefully tried to not break any expensive pottery. It was glorious.
I love that there is a store to interest everyone!
~~~~~

If you live in the tri-state area, I can't encourage you enough to check out Peddler's Village for yourself. If you don't live in the tri-state area, I'd still consider it worth a visit!

The best place to start is signing up for the Peddler's Village Loyal Customer Club emails. I signed up for these emails in November, and I receive 1 or 2 emails per month. The emails are filled with information on coming events and special offers for Loyal Customer Club members (for instance, Peddler's Village offered a special discount to members for 50% off a Saturday stay during the month of March. Um, yes please?!?! Discounts and coupons for dining and shopping pop up as well).

The next step is booking your stay. You can book online or over the phone.

And lastly, head up to New Hope and enjoy your stay!

I will be posting upcoming Spring events soon, so check back!

Have you visited or stayed at Peddler's Village? Leave a comment below sharing your experience!

Disclaimer: Peddler's Village provided me a discount stay and dinner. My passion and enthusiasm for Peddler's Village, though, is all me!!

Share the Love at Peddler's Village

Not long ago, I shared with you about my awesome overnight to Peddler's Village. The mini-vacay came at a time when I needed a getaway, and it happened to be right before the holidays.

Since our stay, I've been excited to plan another trip out to Peddler's Village. We were so enthusiastic about our getaway, Hubby and I gave his parents an overnight at PV as a Christmas gift (they made then trek shortly after Christmas). They LOVED their time away, which was earned after they endured a long and tedious autumn.

With Valentine's Day fastly approaching (I'm sure it's on ALL of your calendars), I thought it was appropriate to share with you some of the things going on over Valentine's Weekend up at PedVil (yes, I just created that nickname. Don't judge me). Hopefully it won't be difficult to entice you up for an overnight (or even a day trip):

So you can feel GOOD eating there! And, if you can't get a sitter for the kids, the new and improved Earl's has an awesome kid’s menu on the back of an Etch A Sketch! For just $6, children can select an entrée, drink and dessert. Plus all children are served cucumbers and ranch dressing when they sit down to nibble on while they peruse the menu and play with the Etch A Sketch. SO FUN! I will update this page if more Peddler's Village Valentine's Day happenings come my way. Treat your Love this Valentine's Day. You really won't regret the trip!

Check back in a few weeks for a Spring in Peddler's Village post! And if I can convince Hubby to take me away again soon, I will post another review!

Local Flavor: Peddler's Village

4 <----LEAVE A COMMENT HERE
This Local Flavor goes out to all you who NEED. A. GETAWAY.

I needed a Getaway. My daughter was born 15 months ago, and until this weekend, we have not had a weekend away without her. I realize my previous sentence sounds like I couldn't wait to get away from my precious Chica. Not at all! But, as every parent knows, we need time away to regroup and relax. We also need time with our significant other to reconnect!

Regroup. Relax. Reconnect.

As of December 15, Hubby and I will have been married 3 years. In our 3 years of marriage, we have had very few successful vacations or getaways. I will partially attribute this to the fact that we don't have a huge amount of money to blow on a vacation, so we have enjoyed vacations visiting our loved ones. This is a wonderful blessing, but allows for little Together Time. I will also attribute our low Vacation Success Rate to the unfortunate luck of choosing REALLY BAD Getaway Destinations.

Really bad.

I will not name names or slander any business, but I can tell you that I have stayed in some whoppers. One hotel room smelled funky. It took 24 hours to realize it was because our room was situated above a deli. That functioned without air conditioning. In 95-degree summer heat. You can imagine the stench. One getaway was to a Bed and Breakfast. This occurred while I was not quite 3 months pregnant, and still rolling with "Morning" (read: ALL DAY) Sickness. I was scolded by the Inn Keeper for not finishing my (free) tea. Not even kidding. And Hubby was convinced our room was haunted.

Needless to say, we have become hesitant in booking new Getaways, for fear of history repeating itself.

As Chica graduated to Year 2 of her life, we decided to begin researching a nice overnight or weekend getaway. We were more than ready, and Grandparents were chomping at the bit for a Little Chica sleepover. We wanted to keep it local (within 2 hours), and economical, as we still wanted to have a reserve of money to treat ourselves to a nice Anniversary Celebration in December.

I poured over pages of internet pages. Hotels. Motels. B&B's. Packages. Specials. Close. Far. Inclusive. Not inclusive. Cheap. Too Cheap. Expensive. Too Expensive.

My sights set on a semi-local attraction. After reading through some reviews (most good, a few not-so-good), we decided to hold our breaths and book the Getaway. I was nervous. What if we made another bad decision? What if the beautiful pictures on the website are doctored, and it's really awful? What if our hotel room is disgusting? What if? What if?

Well, we went last weekend, and I cannot say enough good things about our visit. Our little excursion was to a wonderful place called:

About and hour and a half away from our home (which is outside of Philadelphia), Peddler's Village is a quaint little town filled with shops, restaurants and calendar FULL of events! We arrived on a cold and rainy night, having got turned around a few times (No, we don't own a GPS), so we were at the end of our ropes. This would have been a bad time to be Bad Vacation ambushed. Upon arrival, Hubby received our room key, as well as:

1. A $7 voucher for each of us to be used the next day at Breakfast OR Lunch at one of the participating locations within the Village.

2. A book of coupons and discounts for Peddler's Village

3. A complimentary bottle of wine from Chaddsford Winery (a small bottle - enough for 1 glass for each of us), which has a shop and tasting room at Peddler's Village

Every guest receives these amenities! Our room was in the Golden Plough Inn, Peddler's Village offer for housing. This neat Inn is not just a hotel. The rooms from the Inn are dispersed around the village over the different shops. It was a neat variation from the usual! So, we drove to our location (which is not far - Peddler's Village is small, and everything is within walking distance), and headed toward our room.

To give you a better (and more concise) overview of our stay:

The Room: Gorgeous! The Golden Plough Inn was a treat. We were DELIGHTED to find a large room, nicely decorated, with lots of lighting. The room was clean and warm, with a big bathroom and fireplace. A small refrigerator with 2 complimentary bottles of water was nestled in a cabinet under a television. We enjoyed our night in this room, as the bed was comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets in the closet if we needed them. And no disturbance from the neighbors (if we even had any?).

The Food: DELICIOUS! We had dinner at Earl's Prime, a slightly more upscale restaurant. The food was not only gourmet, but locally sourced, which I appreciated. Hubby had Ahi Tuna, and I had Braised Short Rib. I highly recommend dining at Earl's if you can make it up to PV! We had breakfast at the Town Crier Bakery, simply coffee and a muffin. Lunch was at Sweet Lorraines, which had a great variety of salads, soups and sandwiches, as well we entrees for our choosing. Hubby enjoyed that they had a bar, and paired his lunch with his favorite Brew. We were not disappointed with ANY of the food we ate, and put to use our $14 of vouchers toward our lunch. Our only regret? Not staying longer, as there were so many more restaurants to try! For a complete list, check out the Peddler's Village Dining Guide.

The Shopping: Entertaining! While the shops are naturally geared toward women (and their fashions), there were plenty of shops to keep both Hubby and I engaged (YES, my HUBBY, a BOY, enjoyed Peddler's Village. So do not be deterred by thinking that Peddler's Village is a "chick thing." It is equally fun for all!). Kitchen Shops, Cheese Shops, different cultural and heritage shops, candy shops and clothing stores. It was fun to walk around the village, popping into each shop and checking out their wares. The vendors were friendly and helpful. While we didn't buy too much, we both agreed it would be worth a trip back in the future to shop again. Another bonus? Across from Peddler's Village is a small center of outlet stores: Bass, Van Heusen, Kitchen Collections, DKNY, etc. The outlets boasted 3 different children's clothing shops (Gymboree, Children's Place and Osh Kosh BGosh), and the prices were great! We made away with 2 outfits for Little Chica for the holidays! For more info on the shops of Peddler's Village, click here.

MISC: Check out Peddler's Village Calendar of Events. There is something every month worth visiting for. We came one weekend shy of the Grand Illumination Ceremony, which includes lighting 1 million Christmas Lights around the village! The kickoff is part of a Merchant's Open House, with free cider and marshmellow toasting. Throughout the year, Murder Mystery Dinners, as well as Colonial Dinners are offered. We kept note of all the different events we wanted to come back for (possibly before Christmas!)

If you need more than just shopping, there is a winery (New Hope Winery) just down the street which does tours and tastings. We did not get to go here, but look forward to checking it out in the future. We also found that there is some hiking not far as well.

~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~
Overall, it was a great and rewarding Getaway. We were delightfully surprised by our accomodations, our dining experiences, as well as all the Village had to offer.
Are you in need of a Getaway? I HIGHLY recommend looking into a night (or two!) at Peddler's Village. TREAT YOURSELF (or surprise your spouse) this Holiday Season! This would also be a great location for a Girl's Weekend. Can't think of a gift to give a family member or friend? Consider a Peddler's Village gift certificate.
If you want more info, head over to the Peddler's Village website. Also feel free to contact me, as I would happily answer any questions you might have!
THIS WEEKEND: The Grand Illumination Ceremony including Merchants Open House. Fun for the whole family! Check it out!
Do you have a great (and LOCAL) Getaway Destination? Drop me a line and give me the info! Hubby and I want to add more GOOD vacation spots to our repertoire!
