Artifact Boutique #FashionFriday

For me, the best kind of fashion is three-fold. It needs to be:

Wearable
Accessible
Affordable

Is that so much to ask?

Luckily, I live in an area with fantastic boutiques with fabulous fashion offerings. I was recently introduced to Artifact Boutique in West Chester, PA. They asked me and a few of my bloggy gal pals to do a photo shoot with them.

RIGHT?

I'm FAMOUS.

Not really.

The store, nestled on the corner of Darlington and Gay Streets in downtown West Chester, is owned by Lauren. Lauren is a young business owner and mother, so HOW CAN I NOT LOVE HER?  She is stylish, sweet and did I mention she is a mom?

Moms are rockstars.

The moment I walked in the store, I felt the overwhelming urge to buy all the things. Very rarely do I walk into a shop and resound with a large marjority of the merchandise. Until I met Artifact. I felt like I could wear almost every article of clothing Lauren had in the store that day. I was supposed to pick an item to wear for the shoot, but I could not narrow it down!  Here are a few I tried on:

This is my friend Heather.
I told her she HAD to try that dress on.
She laughed at me.

I have been dying for a Chevron Print Dress.
Boom.

I tried it on. And made a stupid face. But I loved it.

Off the shoulder. Am I that daring?

(Don't mind the stupid faces. I apparently can't be normal.)

The other great thing about Artifact is that everything in the store is under $60. Everything. The cute clothes. The accessories. The purses. The everything. They also get new merchandise WEEKLY, so there are always fresh looks to choose from.

So many cute accessories!

This means Artifact is the Perfect Fashion Trifecta:

Wearable (I loved all the things!)
Accessible (it's where I live! And if you don't live near me, they have an online store!)
Affordable (it's all under $60!)

Boom. Color me sold.

Since I had trouble deciding, I came back a few weeks later and finally landed on the piece I was going to wear for the photo shoot - a polka dot tunic:

I loved that I could wear it casually with flats and jeans, or dress it up with a wide belt and leggings with brown boots for a different look.

After getting ready, we commenced with the photo shoot. Here are a few of the takes:

The whole Gang. Lauren is clearly the Gang Boss, holding court in the center.

LOVE IT!

I will be going back and sharing with you my Artifact Fall Fashion Finds next Friday! Until then, can I encourage you to support this small local business (owned by a mom, nonetheless)?  Forget the mall, baby! For those wonderful readers who don't live locally, I strongly encourage you to check out their online store. It's fab!

UPDATE: Check out the fab outfit I scored at Artifact Boutique!

If you need more incentive, Lauren is extending a 20% off discount if you mention the code WCBLOGGER in the store or online!

Get yo' self some CLOTHES, sister!

You can find Artifact on their Website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
