Apologies for the lack of posts this week - there has been a lot of Thanksgiving preparedness happening! I will make up for it with several posts later this week and over the weekend. I was forwarded some great Beef Stew recipes, and I have some more Revolution Gifts up my sleeve!
So STAY TUNED and stop back tomorrow!
In the meantime, I hope and pray that no matter what is happening in your life, you are able to find one (if not many) things to be thankful for. Did you wake up this morning? Is there breath in your lungs? Are there people who love you (and if you can't think of any, consider this a cyber-hug of love from me!)?
Then you are blessed.
As you consider this, please do not forget those who are in need this Thanksgiving. Notice I did NOT say "those are who not as blessed." Some of the most blessed and happy people in this world are those who have very little. They just have a great mindset. But, there ARE many in NEED. While many of us spend this afternoon gathered around a table full of food and loved ones, many are without food, shelter or support. Visit a food shelter, donate some canned goods, drop off some clothes.
Or, invite someone in.
Give them a warm meal.
Show them Love.
Pay. It. Forward.
And be thankful.
PS - I would love to hear what YOU are thankful for and the ways you are paying it forward. As you leave comments, I will post them. It will be a great and encouraging way to start the Holiday Season. So PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT!
