Me Time with PEOPLE Magazine

So a few weeks ago, I told you all about the PEOPLE Magazine Sexiest Man Alive issue. We all gawked and squabbled over who we WANTED to win, and I’d say most were happy that Mr. Channing was crowned as SMA.

But PEOPLE Magazine is good for more than just this one issue a year, amiright?

In my Motivation Monday post from earlier this week, I shared with you how I’m trying to find a Quiet Place in the midst of all this holiday craziness. I think this is a good practice to implement all year ‘round, but particularly necessary in the month of December. I’ve found the best way to get to my Quiet Place is to invoke ME TIME.

I need time where I can focus on myself, even if just for a short period of time. It may be shopping, it may be enjoying a bubble bath, it may be lounging around the house or taking a nap.  But during this Me Time, I need the opportunity to allow myself to take time away from attending to others. I need the chance to refocus and refresh, so I can come back to my daily duties with a clean slate, ready to give me all to those around me.

So this week?

This week I gave myself a
PEOPLE Magazine Me Time.

Heck yes I did.

First, I went to my local Walgreens

Sup, Wally.

Then I got distracted by candy.

Get behind me, Satan!

Then I made my way over to the  magazines and found the  recent issue of PEOPLE Magazine.

Oh, why hello Bradley.

After purchasing, I went home and flipped through the pages.

Who WOULDN'T want to read this article? Do you remember my post about my Babysitters Club obsession??

Cheap gifts. CHEAP GIFTS!!!

Not a fan of gossip. But I like Mayim Bialik. And have since her Blossom days.

Oh, the many hairstyles of one Brad Pitt.

This article intrigued me because I despise Two and A Half Men. Like - why? Why do people like this show?
2 words: PECAN. PIE.

Of course, I invited my BFF’s to join along

Oh ice cream and Nutella: you are so good to me. But so bad for my hips. They don't lie.

Ah. The perfect Me Time.

How do you  create Me Time?

Did you catch the most recent issue of PEOPLE Magazine?
