Review and Giveaway #1: Shutterfly Holiday Cards

As promised, I'll be running TWO giveaways this week. These particular giveaways go hand-in-hand, and come just in time to get you all ready for the holidays.

The holidays.

Yep, we haven't even hit Halloween (trick-or-treat, y'all!), but it's time to start thinking about the holidays. It is tradition for most to send update/photo holiday cards out during December, a holiday-riddled month.  It's the perfect time to reach out to your loved ones and say, "Hey!  I love ya!  Here's what's been going on this year."

I love getting holiday cards.

Maybe it's because we're all so virtual nowadays.  Everything is quick and instantly fulfilled. EMAIL, check. STATUS UPDATE, check. PHOTO UPLOAD, check.  But there is just something about opening the mailbox and seeing a hand-written envelope with your name on it.

It warms my heart.

So, I too, take part in the card-craze during the holidays.  The past 2 years, I've gotten my photo cards from Shutterfly.

And I love them.

Seriously.

I'm not sure what, exactly, I love about Shutterfly holidays cards.  Perhaps the price. They are really reasonable, often running discounts, coupons or promotions to cheapen the cost.  Perhaps the options.  Two years ago, I went the flat/postcard holiday card route. Simple. To the point.  And the design was impeccable.

Last year, I went the folded Christmas card route. I liked that it was a little more complex, and the design I chose allowed me to use several photos on the front, as well as one on the back.  I wrote a personalized greeting inside, and Shutterfly took care of the rest.

And one year, when Little Chica was a few months old, we made the cutest photo book. These make AWESOME gifts, people.  We cherish ours as a nice album that we can look back on. But my sister-in-law, Laura (her recipes have appeared on this blog from time to time), has compiled photos over the year, and make some of her family members photo books of their Summer Vacation together. I LOVE this.  What a great gift, and a great way to preserve memories!

I'm not quite sure which route I want to go this year: flat or folded.  Simple or complex.  I have some time to figure it out.  And, luckily, I have some time to peruse the Shutterfly site for gift ideas.

Today, though, I want to give YOU a chance to win some Shutterfly love!

One of the giveaways I will be hosting this week is a Shutterfly giveaway! 2 lucky winners will win 25 FREE cards from Shutterfly (shipping and handling will still apply).  What a great way to start the holidays!

To enter, fill out the form below.

No hoops to jump through, no bonus entries.  Just your name and email.  That's it!  Entering a giveaway has never been easier. You may enter ONCE per day until the giveaway ends on Monday, October 31 at 12:00pm (noon).
