Some days, you feel like you are getting this "Mom" thing down. You juggle the daily schedule and workload with ease. You communicate seamlessly with your toddler. You might even enjoy an entire 24 hours of being Super Mom.
And then there are the days when your 18-month old gets a wicked case of diaper rash. And she never gets diaper rash. And you had noticed that she has been somewhat off for a day or two, cranky or whiney, and you couldn't figure out why. And then the woman who runs the nursery at your bible study mentions the skin malady on your little one's hiney.
And that day, my friends, you realize, "Hey. I don't have it all together. And that kind of sucks." Welcome to Club Mommy. Hear me say it now: None of us have it all together. It is ok. You've been humbled. And while it might sting, it is a good thing. Because we are all in this together.
Here's to Motherhood...
