Hi all! I will be posting a Meatless Meal recipe this afternoon. As I've stated for the past few weeks, I've been a bit uninspired in the Simple Supper categories. I think I just need to find some fresh recipes. So if you have one, send it my way! I also just found some awesome cookbooks (which ignited fresh ideas!) to page through, so fear not! Simple Suppers WILL BE BACK!
Here is why I am "Shouting Out" today.
I hate eating fish.
Well, let me clarify.
I hate eating anything that lived any portion of it's life in or near water. Fish. Clams. Crabs. Lobster. Shellfish. Shrimp. Jellyfish. Shark. Pirhana. Pollution. Etc. Et al.
But recently, I've felt bad having that bias on this blog. Sure, up until now, I've never mentioned my extreme hatred for seafood. But, you haven't seen any recipes with seafood ingredients.
And, if I am honest with myself, that's wrong. It's Fishist. And it's not fair to all the rest of you out there who enjoy eating this (Gulp. Swallowing vomit) delicacy. One of those people is Hubby. He. Loves. Seafood. And the poor guy never gets to enjoy it. Because not only do I dislike fish, so does his family (which is one of the reasons I love him).
So, to be fair (and give Hubby a chance to try some good seafood recipes), I am going to start collecting and POSTING fish recipes under the Simple Supper meals.
