Local Flavor: West Chester Railroad

Another West Chester-centric post, but this one is too good to pass up! The West Chester Railroad runs all-year round for tours on the stretch of rail in West Chester that no longer formally serves the local rail service. A great spot to take out-of-town guests or kids, as it runs only on the weekends. BUT, for the holiday season, there is a SPECIAL treat to all WCRR visitors!

Saturdays and Sundays between now and the end of the month, Santa will be on board as you rumble down the tracks on the WCRR! This is a great event, as it is indoors and unaffected by the weather (check in, though, if it is snowing!). $10 for kids and $15 for adults, don't miss out!

For more info on the happenings at the West Chester Railroad, check out their WEBSITE, and click here for their December schedule...

  1. Note: "end of month" really means the Sunday before Christmas.
