Calling All Beef Stew Recipes!

Hello, Folks!

In lieu of a Simple Supper recipe, I wanted to take the opportunity to solicit a recipe from you (sneaky, I know)...

I have been on a quest to find a really good Beef Stew recipe.

I haven't had Beef Stew in a long time. Years. Perhaps decades? My mom used to make it when I was little. At the time, I didn't appreciate vegetables, and mostly ate the beef and spent a good bit of time sopping up the juicy broth with crusty bread (sopping up sauce, broth and gravy with crusty bread is still my hands-down favorite thing to eat). I remember enjoying Beef Stew, and I am still not sure why it died off.

Since it's extinction in my childhood household, I've desired to have a good Beef Stew recipe for the cold winter months. I've researched cookbooks, magazines and online resources. So many of the recipes I found were SO INVOLVED (with no promise of a tasty result), and sometimes called for super gourmet ingredients (which is fine now and then, but not with stew).

So here is what I am looking for:

Your tried, true and trusted Beef Stew recipes. Must be:

1) Tasty

2) SIMPLE

3) Uncomplicated

4) Tasty

5) Thick

6) Did I mention Tasty?

So...send me your recipes! I'll happily post as many as I can get, and I can not WAIT to try them!
