Sunday Morning Confession

It has been a pretty long week, and Sunday morning has finally arrived. My little chica went to bed later than usual last night, which often messes up our mornings. This morning, we could not get our act together to get out to church on time with my hubby. I guess I feel bad, so I wanted to "confess" that.

On mornings like this (which can happen from time to time with a 1 year old), little chica and I do our best to participate in church by watching Praise Baby dvd's. Have you ever seen them? They are kind of like Baby Einstein videos, but set to praise music. I know it's silly, but I find that I can even be inspired by them too! It makes me feel like we are apart of church even though we are at home (and I feel a little better about having missed the opportunity to go to actual church).

Little Chica doesn't watch videos or TV a lot, but when she does, I attempt to make it valuable.

So, that is my confession. I didn't get to church this morning. But we're holding down the fort at home with Praise Baby.
