West Chester Grower's Market Recap - 7.11.09

"30 Minutes of Fishing, Peaches and Violins"


I will make a confession: I was stressed about the Market this weekend. I was scheduled to help a friend move around 10am, but was unwilling to give up the weekly trip to my favorite Grower's Market. I knew that loading a moving van would take a considerable amount of time. Consequently, that left me with a short window to shop and enjoy my time perusing the corner parking lot on Church and Chestnut Streets.

But I am a dedicated Market Goer.

So, whether I have 5 minutes or 5 hours, I will do my best to make my way to the WCGM. Not just because I want to, but because this is the best place to pick up fresh and local produce. Ineed to be there. This particular Saturday, I had roughly 30 minutes. That may seem like a lot of time to some, but it is the blink of an eye at the Grower's Market.
